This is Dip is Such an Easy Appetizer

We absolutely love Boursin cheese in our house. It’s found in the specialty cheese section of most grocery stores.  I have always just plopped it in a small bowl and served it with crackers or crostini but when I saw this viral tiktok recipe, I knew I had to make it.

I grew up with my mom making the popular pepper jelly and cream cheese appetizer for a holiday’s and this creamy boursin dip reminds me of that with extra crunch from the nuts.

  • Boursin cheese –  Garlic and Herb is a great choice, but any Boursin flavor you like will work. Let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes for it to spread easier.
  • Fig jam or preserves – This adds a wonderful sweetness that pairs so nice with the savory cheese. Other fruit preserves will work too, like apricot or blackberry.
  • Pistachios –  I chop roasted pistachios. Toasted sliced almonds, chopped pecans, or even walnuts would be a delicious swap.
  • Hot honey – I love Mike’s brand if you can find it! Drizzle it over the top of everything for a wonderful finish. Use regular honey if that’s all your have.

How to Make Fig and Boursin Cheese Dip

There’s nothing better than having this easy appetizer recipe to make when you need something amazing quick!

Step 1: Spread the wheel of Boursin cheese onto a serving platter or plate in an even layer. I let the cheese sit out and soften while gathering everything and it’s usually perfect.

Step 2: Spoon the fig preserves onto the cheese layer and spread it out gently.

Step 3: Sprinkle the chopped pistachios all over the jam layer.

Step 4: Drizzle the honey over the top in a back-and-forth pattern.

Step 5: Serve with toasted baguette slices, baguette chips, pita chips, or other sturdy crackers.

Feel free to make it ahead of time. I usually wait and add the honey until just before serving.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
