The season finale of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War part 3, The Conflict, was as epic as fans could hope for, and it left plenty to be excited about for the grand premiere of the fourth and final part, The Calamity. Even with part 4 delayed from its original 2025 release window, it’s still poised to be as perfect a sendoff for Bleach as one could want, and with its premiere now just a few days away, there’s never been a more exciting time for the series.
As Ichigo and his friends raced to defeat Yhwach and save the three realms, they ran into Uryu once again, and upon Haschwalth’s orders, he forced Ichigo into another fight. Ichigo’s feelings about not wanting to fight Uryu hadn’t changed since last time, but at long last, he and the audience were finally given the truth about why Uryu had joined the Wandenreich. It all came together for a phenomenal season finale, and it’s made the wait for Thousand-Year Blood War part 4 all the more exciting.
What Time Does Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 4, Episode 1 Premiere?
As with previous seasons,Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War part 4, The Calamity, will stream exclusively on Hulu, which can be accessed through the app, the website, or through a third-party website like Disney+. Assuming there are no delays, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War part 4, episode #1 will premiere on Sunday, July 25 at 7:30 AM Pacific Standard Time (PST), 10:30 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST), and 3:30 PM British Summer Time (BST), and any changes to that will be reported as soon as possible.
What Happened In Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3, Episode 14?
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War part 3, episode #14, “My Last Words”, picked up where episode #13 left off, with Ichigo’s group running into Uryu on their way to Yhwach. Ichigo once again asked Uryu what he was doing, but before he could answer, Hascwalth told Uryu to fight Ichigo to prove that he wasn’t a traitor; sure enough, a fight did break out, but a flashback revealed that Uryu learned that Yhwach was responsible for his mother’s death, and so he had taken it upon himself to kill Yhwach, no matter the cost.
Elsewhere, the other fights across the Wahrwelt were well underway. The Bambies had made their way to Yhwach’s throne room ahead of Ichigo, although Yhwach quickly struck them down before going back to sleep; Yoruichi was making zero headway with Askin as his Schrift, The Deathdealing, nullified all of her attacks, and while Gerard had seemingly become invincible, the Soul Reapers confronting him quickly received aid from the Vizards.
Back with Ichigo and Uryu, after Ichigo said that he would beat Uryu up no matter what his explanation was, Uryu, moved by the reminder of Ichigo’s blunt nature, revealed his plan to kill Yhwach and asked Ichigo and everyone to return to Earth for their safety. Ichigo, of course, refused to abandon Uryu, but things only got more complicated when Haschwalth interrupted to try and kill them all.
At that moment, though, Uryu realized that Yhwach and Haschwalth traded possession of The Almighty whenever one of them was asleep, meaning that Haschwalth currently had The Almighty and now was the perfect chance to defeat Yhwach. Uryu told Ichigo and everyone to go after Yhwach while he fought Haschwalth, promising that those wouldn’t be their last words, and as they separated again, finally on good terms, the episode ended with Isshin and Ryuken making their way into the Wahrwelt.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Was Bigger Than Ever In Its Third Season
After two years of nonstop hits, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War part 3, The Conflict, was even bigger with its increasingly phenomenal visuals and emotional storytelling, and with the long-awaited resolution to Uryu’s arc and the amazing setup for the final act, episode #14 was nothing short of a perfect finale. Studio Pierrot's Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War continues to be everything a fan could ask for, and there was no better note to end things on before the fourth and final season.
