The newest installment in the highly popular manga/anime series Bleach is almost here. Mangaka and series creator Tite Kubo is heavily involved in the project, contributing to it via production cooperation, character concept, and character design. Called BLEACH Mirrors High, the mobile game follows two fully customizable player-avatar protagonists, Shirin Migishima and Shirane Sanari (voiced by Chiaki Kobayashi and Maria Sashide, respectively).
BLEACH Mirrors High’s second trailer was released only recently, and the mobile game’s release seems quite imminent now. Plus, marketing seems to be ramping up swiftly as the closed beta period is almost here and three brand-new characters have now been announced.
As per Crunchyroll, as well as the official BLEACH Mirrors High website, three new members of the Soul Society’s Thirteen Court Guard Squads, designed by none other than Tite Kubo, have been revealed for the upcoming mobile game:
- Naru Jurinna (CV: Fuka Izumi)
- Giro Hando (CV: Shogo Batori)
- Maiko Tokishima (CV: Yu Sasahara)
Alongside these debut characters, BLEACH Mirrors High also features a cast of iconic characters from the Bleach franchise, including Toshiro Hitsugaya, Byakuya Kuchiki, Kisuke Urahara, Renji Abari, Rukia Kuchiki, Ichigo Kurosaki, and more “coming soon.” The Overview trailer for BLEACH Mirrors High also reveals these debut characters in gameplay, utilizing “strategic Action Card choices.”
Because BLEACH Mirrors High has players select a team of three characters, Naru Jurinna, Giro Hando, and Maiko Tokishima could be a team all on their own, depending on what each character’s kits are like, or if better compositions exist with other Gotei 13 squad members. Gameplay itself is described as “Fast, strategic combat at your fingertips.”
Meanwhile, it’ll be neat to see what other characters are revealed to be in BLEACH Mirrors High later on, let alone after launch, including the possibility of other debut characters designed by Tite Kubo. Each of these new characters’ actors have provided heartwarming comments about how much of a joy it is for them to be cast in BLEACH Mirrors High, as well as what it means to them to be joining the Bleach franchise overall, as shared on Twitter/X.
Applications for it are already closed, unfortunately, but there is a closed beta test for BLEACH Mirrors High, running from July 22–26, that iOS and Android players who’re lucky enough to be selected will be able to experience. Otherwise, there is no official release date yet for BLEACH Mirrors High beyond its vague and tight summer 2026 window, so fans may be able to anticipate the Bleach mobile game launching within a month from now, after the closed beta period has concluded.
