Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced: Uncrowned Prince Rapier Sword Location Guide

Here is where you can find the legendary Uncrowned Prince sword in Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced.

Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced is a game filled with mystery and loot for players to uncover. From unique outfits to decorations for your manor to song sheets for the crew to sing, you can lose a lot of time hunting everything down in this game. While most items are marked on your map once you synchronize with a nearby Viewpoint, some pieces of gear are tucked away in the far corners of the Caribbean.

One of these is the Uncrowned Prince Rapier Sword, which was recently discovered in a very specific section of the ocean and can be easily missed by anyone sailing by. Here is where to find this blade, what it does, and if the sword is actually worth the trouble of acquiring it.

Uncrowned Prince Rapier Sword Location

Before we get into the guide, I wanted to give credit to Reddit user NinePathompuZ, who appears to be the first person to have discovered this secret chest!

If you want to locate the Uncrowned Prince swords, you will need to first head south to the region of Charlotte and go to coordinates 500,167. This should be a small inlet on the main island that's directly to the west of Kingston. When you arrive, anchor the Jackdaw and release the wheel so you can freely roam around.

Now dive into the water and swim towards the wall where there are two large pieces of the cliff jutting out slightly over the water. Dive into the water and swim around the coral until you see a steady stream of bubbles. Following this will lead you to a single underwater chest containing the Uncrowned Prince rapiers and the Guardian Beast figurehead.

Finding this chest can be a bit tricky, if only because there's a lot of space to explore in this area, so make sure you stick to the specific coordinates listed earlier. The chest will also glow white, making it a bit easier to find the coral. Additionally, you won't need to worry about any sharks, urchins, or jellyfish, so don't worry about being attacked while you are hunting for this treasure.

You can equip these swords by opening up your menu, selecting Inventory, and picking the rapiers. You can also just use their appearance on a different sword by selecting the "Customize" option on the blades you have equipped and picking the Uncrowned Prince. As for the Guardian Beast, figureheads can be equipped at any Harbourmaster or in the Jackdaw's Captain's Quarters.

Is The Uncrowned Prince Good?

Yes and no. Boasting 25 base attack and a maximum Takedown count of 3, this sword set comes with the unique passive that you will gain a bit of health whenever you break an enemy's defense. This last part is what makes the Uncrowned Prince worth considering. While its damage isn't really impressive for a legendary sword, the passive gives you some nice sustain when fighting a ton of enemies.

That being said, unless you're planning to consistently fight a lot of enemies at once, the Uncrowned Prince is just okay. It's slightly above average for the mid and late-game missions. All that being said, since you can actually reach the sword's location without fighting any enemies or progressing through the campaign, this is actually a pretty solid early-game weapon.

If you're just starting or haven't progressed towards the end of the story, I do recommend grabbing and using these rapiers. The extra health can make boarding ships like Man O' Wars or taking control of Forts much easier for less upgraded players.
