Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced: Sacrifice Island Mayan Stelae Puzzle Solution

One of the Mayan Stelae puzzles is located on Sacrifice Island in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, here's how to solve it to get the Mayan Stone.

Sacrifice Island is one of the most eerie locations to have a Mayan Stelae puzzle in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, especially if you visit it at night during a storm. Like the majority of the islands in the Caribbean Archipelago, this one is tied to exploration. If you're mainly following quests, chances are you might have missed visiting it. To make things easier, this guide will help you locate and solve the Sacrifice Island Mayan Stelae puzzle in AC Black Flag Resynced.

Sacrifice Island Mayan Stelae Puzzle Solution in AC Black Flag Resynced

To get to the Sacrifice Island Mayan Stelae puzzle in AC Black Flag Resynced, players will need to head west of Havana to the edge of the map (18, 548). The island is crawling with Spanish soldiers, so you'll either need to sneak your way to the southern part of the island, or simply take out all the enemies.

The Mayan puzzle is located right next to the southern viewpoint on Sacrifice Island. Once you reach here, simply climb atop the highest Mayan pillar/totem here to start the stele puzzle. The projected lines on the ground are shaped like a triangle, with circles on each edge. You'll need to align the three circles on the edges with the three stones on the ground.

  • Rotate the lines until the triangle is facing away from Edward.
  • Adjust the triangle to be in the middle of the three stones on the ground.
  • Reduce the size of the lines to properly align each stone into three circles.

Once you're done, all three circles will be aligned with the stones, highlighting an area Edward can dig in the middle of the projected triangle. Once you dig up in the area, you'll get a Mayan Stone for solving the puzzle.

What to Do With Mayan Stones in Assassin's Creed Black Flag

The Mayan Stone that you'll receive after completing the Sacrifice Island stele puzzle is actually one of 16 stones required to complete the Mayan Mysteries side quest in AC Black Flag Resynced. Once you have all 16 Mayan Stones, you'll need to head to the Mayan Temple in Tulum.

Players will automatically arrive in Tulum during the "Nothing is True..." main quest in Sequence 4.

Once you arrive at the Mayan Temple, located in the northwestern corner of Tulum Island, you'll need to go inside. At the end of the temple, you'll spot a large stone wall with indentations. Here you'll need to insert all 16 Mayan Stones to unlock a cool new Mayan outfit and a powerful Trinket that makes Edward immune to projectile (bullets) damage.
