Assassin's Creed Black Flag resynced: How to get skeleton crew (deceased crew attire)

The Jackdaw's crew is one of the most memorable NPCs in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, with their nautical callouts and their rhythmic shanties. However, there's a legendary item called "Deceased Crew Attire" that turns all of them into undead skeleton crew. This is one of the best crew cosmetics in AC Black Flag Resynced, making Jackdaw feel like the infamous Flying Dutchman and bringing the wrath of the underworld to the vibrant seas of the Caribbean.

How to Unlock the Skeleton Crew in AC Black Flag Resynced (Deceased Crew Attire)

Secret General Store Location

To get the Skeleton Crew cosmetic in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced (Deceased Crew Attire), players will need to visit a secret General Store located on an unnamed island. The island is located in the Gibara region, and players can locate it using the coordinates 550, 638.

Purchasing Skeleton Crew Legendary Attire

After arriving at the island, you'll need to jump off the Jackdaw and swim your way ashore. There's a General Store in the middle of the island that players can purchase items from. The general store has several unique cosmetics and in-game gear, including the legendary Deceased Crew Attire, which can turn all the crew on Jackdaw into skeletons.

However, to unlock the skeleton crew for Jackdaw, you'll need 206 Bones to purchase the Deceased Crew Attire in AC Black Flag Resynced. This high price tag will require players to hunt animals and farm bones for several hours (more on that later).

How to Equip Deceased Crew Attire

Once you eventually purchase the Deceased Crew Attire, you can equip it by either visiting the Harbormaster or by heading into Jackdaw Captain's Cabin and customizing the ship. Now all the crew on your Jackdaw, including recruits for hire in Great Inagua, will turn into skeletons.

How to Get Bones in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced (Best Farm Methods)

Hunting Method for Farming Bones

The first method to accumulate 206 Bones to unlock the skeleton crew is simply by hunting animals. Once you explore enough islands and cities, you'll be able to see the different animal symbols the landmark is habitat for. One of the best locations where you can find the maximum number of animals in one go is the city of Kingston in the Navassa region (623, 172).

You can start the bone farming route in Kingston from the Rabbit icon in the northwest section of the city. Make sure to use Eagle Vision to mark any rabbits in the vicinity, hunt them down, and skin them to get one bone. From here, follow the route indicated in the image above, combing the forest area for animals, and you'll be able to easily get anywhere from 10 to 15 bones in one run.

For rabbits, you can easily chase them down on foot and assassinate them. Alternatively, you can also use pistols or Sleep Dart to make the hunt a lot easier, which also applies to deer and monkeys in Kingston as well.

Purchasing Bones from the Treasure Dealer (Reales/Money Farming Method)

While you can directly hunt animals to collect 206 bones for the skeleton crew cosmetic, or you can also purchase bones from the Treasure Dealer in Great Inagua. You'll be able to restore the Treasure Dealer building after successfully restoring the Tavern and General Store on the island.

You can purchase one Bone for 1000 Reales from the Treasure Dealer, which is a rather steep price. So, if you want to avoid hunting animals, you can instead focus on farming Reales instead and simply purchase 206 Bones in bulk from the Treasure Dealer instead.

There are several ways to make Reales in AC Black Flag Resynced, ranging from completing main quests to completing side activities. I'll be sharing the best Reales (money) farm method that I've personally used while trying to make enough money to get 206 bones for the Deceased Crew Attire. Spoiler alert: it involves Naval Battles, a lot of them.

To start the farm, make sure to upgrade your Jackdaw's Hull, Broadside Cannons, Mortar, and other combat-focused components to at least level 3. Once you're ready, set sail to the Navassa region located in the bottom-right corner of the map. Enter the highlighted region above and look for ships.

Players can use the Spyglass to identify the type of ship around them. Once you find a Frigate or a Man-o-War, start the combat, quickly deplete its health, and board it.

After defeating all the enemies on the ship, you'll get three different options: Repair Jackdaw, Get Captain's Lockbox, Lower Wanted Level. Make sure to always select the "Get Captain's Lockbox" option, as that's the main reason why we're only targeting Frigates or Man-o-Wars.

Selecting this option will significantly increase the Reales you earn for destroying a single ship, i.e., 3300x Reales for Frigates, and 4500x Reales for Man-o-Wars. Keep repeating this process and make sure to follow the tips below to get the most value out of this money (Reales) farming method in AC Black Flag Resynced.

• Try to use Ram and Mortars as much as possible to finish off ships quickly.
• Once you've boarded ships, use swords that give you 4 maximum takedowns to quickly finish off enemies. Or, you could use pistols as much as you want, as you'll be getting bullets back from corpses.
• If Jackdaw's HP is getting low, try targeting a smaller ship like a Schooner or a Brig and choose the "Repair" option after boarding concludes to restore Jackdaw's HP.
• Let your Wanted Meter get as high as possible. This will spawn bounty hunters in Frigates or Man-o-Wars, which will allow you to take them down and repeat the strategy mentioned above. Don't remove the Wanted Level if you're aiming to make money as quickly as possible.
• Once you're finished with the farming method, make sure to sell Trade Goods to any of the vendors to make even more Reales (money).

This Reales farming method will easily allow you to make 206,000 Reales within a couple of hours, which will be enough to purchase 206 Bones from the Treasure Dealer, and ultimately acquire the Deceased Crew Attire (Skeleton Crew) in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced.
