Edwards picks the "hottest white guys" in 2026
When asked about the "hottest" and most talked about "white boys" right now from a list that included Erling Haaland, who scored seven goals in his debut World Cup campaign for Norway, and Academy Award-winning actor Matt Damon, Edwards instead chose Tom Holland and Justin Bieber.
"I ain't gonna lie as a kid, I was a big Spiderman guy. Spiderman guy a a kid. Ain't gonna lie, I missed with Justin Bieber too. Gotta have some swag," Ant-Man said. "You got to be able to go in any room and be comfortable. I think that's what comes with 'White Boy of the Year.'"
Bieber and Holland have both taken center stage
Given that Ant-Man chose the swagger both of these men portrayed, it's hard not to acknowledge it. Holland is arguably enjoying the greatest year of his acting career. Within just two weeks, he is headlining two of the most anticipated movies of the year.
One being Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey," which was released on July 17 and has become a global blockbuster. And after playing Telemachus in that movie, Holland's much-awaited Spider-Man: Brand-New Day is scheduled to hit the theaters on July 31, where he plays the iconic Peter Parker.
The ability to anchor two massive films in completely different genres has further cemented Holland as one of Hollywood's up-and-coming superstars.
Bieber, meanwhile, has completed one of pop music's most iconic comeback stories. After spending an extended period away from the spotlight, he reignited his career with the surprise releases of SWAG and SWAG II. He also headlines Coachella this year before performing at the halftime show of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Finals, reminding everyone what his true entertainment value remains.
Between Holland dominating the box office and Bieber reclaiming the music spotlight, both have been impossible to avoid throughout 2026.
Ant-Man was told not to pick Travis Kelce
Interestingly, there was one name the crowd clearly hoped Edwards would not select, and that was Kansas City Chiefs' Travis Kelce, who drew loud reactions from the audience, something that even appeared to catch Edwards by surprise.
"Anyone but Kelce? Ok! Say less, say less," Edwards exclaimed. "Damn, Travis Kelce."
Nevertheless, while Ant-Man is doing the picking now, in a few months, he will be in the spotlight alongside his Timberwolves, whether or not he deserves to be recognized as one of the greatest superstars of the current generation.
