She blasted the styling as 'shocking' in an interview with The Guardian, where she said they should not be used as accessories as they represent 'human heritage' and 'world heritage'.
Using them as such means 'hijacking, flattening and transforming [ancient Iran's] cultural contributions to humanity,' she said.
