Aldi’s newest finds are the best thing to happen to my pantry in years

I never knew I needed this.

Aldi never fails to reveal a product I never knew I needed, whether it’s a new snack or a candle. The “Aisle of Shame” could be the “Aisle of Realization” because of the feeling I get when I discover something that’ll likely change my life—or at least my life in the kitchen.

In this week’s Aldi Finds, two new kitchen organizers left my jaw on the floor.

Aldi’s New Crofton Snack Dispensers 

While perusing the upcoming Aldi Finds, I found these two dispensers that reminded me of my childhood love for gumball machines and the M&M’s dispenser I had in my room.

The first is the Crofton Round Dispenser, which is a circular food dispenser with individual capsules for up to five different pantry items, eliminating the bulk and clutter of product boxes. To dispense food, simply rotate the container to the ingredient you need until it’s over the drawer, then press the circular button. The top of the dispenser comes off for easy access to refill each section.

The product photo displays this organizer holding grains and rice, but some Reddit users are plotting more unique ways to put this Aldi find to good use. 

One person commented, “I would be interested in this for candy,” and another proposed putting a different kind of M&M’s in each compartment for the “ultimate snack machine.”

Meanwhile, a home baker said they bought a similar product and use it for baking add-ins, and it “works so well.” 

Another imagined using it for an ice cream topping bar full of “different sprinkles, chocolate chips” and more. 

The second find of the week is the Crofton Square Dispenser, which is a single-item dispenser that resembles a coin gumball or miniature toy machine—only this one doesn’t require any change. 

The entire top comes off for refilling, and there’s a flat crank on the lid that activates the dispenser. It includes a base to place a bowl, plate, or even your hands underneath to catch whatever goodie you decide to store in it.

These are not only fun ways to dispense your groceries but also serve as compact storage solutions. Put those baking products or snacks that come in awkwardly sized boxes or unresealable bags into a dispenser to reduce pantry or counter clutter. No more spilling sugar when the bag rips or opening a chip-clipped bag to find that what’s inside is stale.

Not every grocery item, snack, or piece of candy will fit, so it might be best to test a handful of whatever you’re planning to dispense before pouring the whole container into it.

It should also be noted that these are not entirely airtight containers and may not be ideal for certain baking ingredients, such as flour or brown sugar. Food safety comes first; fun storage comes second.

Both organizers are $12.99 and will be in stores starting July 22. This week, the Aisle of Shame is worth a walk down because you deserve an organized pantry with a touch of childlike whimsy.
