Aldi has built a loyal following for that exact reason. The discount supermarket chain fills its shelves with everything from flaky pies to frozen sweets that rival desserts from the best pastry chefs.
Some are seasonal treasures worth stocking up on while you can, and others have earned permanent spots on the grocer's highly curated shelves year-round. Here are our nine favorite Aldi desserts.

If you haven't tried Aldi's Specially Selected Double Chocolate Premium Brownie Mix yet, head to your local store ASAP. It has both cocoa powder in the mix and chocolate chips in the batter, and bakes up in the oven with a crackly top and fudgy texture that's unreal.
2. Fresh Farms Frozen Cotton Candy Grapes, $4.29 for 12 ounces
These seasonal grapes are one of the retailer's best-sellers. Don't scoff at them in a dessert roundup, either. Aldi takes beloved cotton candy grapes and flash-freezes them. They're the perfect little bite and only available in the summer, so grab them if you see them.
3. Deutsche Küche Apple Frangipane Tart, $3.99 for 14 ounces
The Deutsche Küche Apple Frangipane Tart is worth clearing freezer space for. This imported German pie has buttery shortcrust pastry, tender apple filling, rich almond frangipane, and crunchy toasted almonds on top. Plus, it bakes up golden and bakery-worthy in about 30 minutes.
4. Baker's Corner Instant Chocolate Pudding Mix, $1.09 for 3.9 ounces
This is pudding mix transforms into a rich, creamy dessert in just minutes with nothing more than cold milk. Use it as the base for no-bake trifles, layered dessert bars, or cream pies, or simply top it with whipped cream for an easy weeknight treat.
5. Bake Shop Bakery Cinnamon Rolls, $4.29 for 8 rolls
These cinnamon rolls from Aldi's bakery come frosted and ready-to-eat. The cinnamon-sugar filled rolls are plushy and already taste like they just came out of the oven - but if you really want to make them next-level, throw them in the oven for a few minutes to make them extra-gooey and soft.
6. Sundae Shoppe Vanilla Milk Chocolate Almond Premium Ice Cream Bars, $5.49 for 3 bars
These vanilla ice cream bars are dipped in a thick layer of milk chocolate that's studded with almond pieces. The Aldi Find is incredibly decadent and feels like a rich, special-occasion treat that's worth every penny. 7. Specially Selected Mini Cream Puffs, $3.30 for 50 puffs
These bite-sized Belgian choux pastries are filled with light, creamy whipped filling and come frozen, so you can thaw exactly as many as you need for a party or nightly treat. With 50 cream puffs in each container, they are the ideal party dessert (grab them when they're in stock).
8. Specially Selected Raspberry Mousse Cups, $4.39 for 2 cups
This seasonal summertime dessert features a creamy mousse with raspberry preserves and a crunchy base and comes ready-to-eat in cute little glass cups (that can be used to hold pens, forks, and other things later on).
