Despite dealing with a hectic schedule on the gridiron, Alabama wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams has managed to thrive in the classroom.
Coleman-Williams has been an explosive playmaker for the Crimson Tide, hauling in 97 passes for 1,554 yards and 12 touchdowns over the past two seasons. He's once again expected be one of the top weapons for Kalen DeBoer's offense this upcoming fall.
While it's unclear if Coleman-Williams will live up to the hype, DeBoer had some pretty awesome news to share about his star wideout.
It turns out Coleman-Williams will earn his undergraduate degree at Alabama this December. The 19-year-old only needed two and a half years of college to accomplish this goal.
What should fans expect from the Alabama star?
If Coleman-Williams returns to his 2024 form (865 receiving yards and eight touchdowns), there's a good chance he'll be viewed as one of the top prospects at his position. However, that won't be enough for him. He said his plan is for him to be a consistent playmaker each day for Alabama.
"My main focus is trying to be a consistent guy day in and day out," Coleman-Williams said, via WBRC News. "With the work that I put in, the results will show for themselves."
Coleman-Williams also wants to be a team captain for the Crimson Tide this season.
Alabama will begin its 2026 season on Sept. 5 against East Carolina.
