Pittsburgh Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers made waves this week by revealing that he's apparently reconciled with his family after years of estrangement and posed for pictures with them.
But as it turns out, this isn't some brand new thing that occurred over the weekend.
TMZ uncovered footage from all the way back in April showing Rodgers and his parents - Ed and Darla - at the Pleasant Valley High School Athletics Hall of Fame dinner, where Rodgers was honored as an inductee as his high school alma mater's inaugural class. Per the report, Rodgers gave a speech at the ceremony where he thanked his parents - signifying that the longstanding rift between them had mended.

News of Rodgers' reunion with his family nevertheless came as a massive surprise to fans. Though TMZ did note that Rodgers' brother Jordan was absent from the Instagram posts and Hall of Fame event, leaving their status unclear.
Rodgers' estrangement from his family became public in 2016 when Jordan, revealed during his appearance on The Bachelorette that the four-time NFL MVP was no longer in contact with his parents or much of his family. Reports later indicated that Rodgers had not spoken with his parents since 2014, though neither side publicly disclosed a single definitive reason for the rift.
