Kilwins Adds Mango Sorbetto and Brings Back Key Lime Pie Ice Cream
Last month, Kilwins was named the No. 1 Best Dessert/Treat Chain in USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards—and now it has two ice cream flavors to celebrate the accomplishment.
First and back by popular demand is the Key Lime Pie Ice Cream. It’s a customer favorite for good reason. It mixes Kilwins’ signature extra-creamy ice cream with tangy lime flavoring, graham cracker crumbles, and swirls of cream cheese. It’s back on the menu—but only for a limited time.
Next on the seasonal menu is the Mango Sorbetto, a sorbet crafted with real mango puree. It makes an extra-refreshing treat and can be made as a Kooler, which is a slushie-like beverage.
Try taking your Mango Sorbetto to the next level with a Tajin topping and chamoy for the ultimate sweet and spicy treat. Customers can order the Tajin and chamoy on any ice cream, sorbetto, or Kooler and will receive a mini bottle of Tajin to customize their spice level.
If you’re unfamiliar with Kilwins, it’s a chain that feels like a quaint treat shop with hand-crafted chocolates and fudge, old-fashioned brittle, caramel apples, and, of course, ice cream. You can watch employees paddle fudge on granite countertops, cook caramel in a copper kettle, and scoop your choice of ice cream. It’s an experience that ends with a sweet treat.
