  • In conjunction with its fiscal third-quarter earnings report, TE Connectivity (TEL) announced on Wednesday it was acquiring privately held Astrodyne TDI in a $1.4B deal.
  • Astrodyne TDI makes advanced power management and filtering solutions, and the deal is expected to add more than $250M in annual sales for TE Connectivity, the company said in a statement. 
  • TE Connectivity is buying Astrodyne from Tinicum L.P., and the deal is expected to close by the end of 2026. Once the deal is complete, Astrodyne will become a part of TE Connectivity's Industrial Solutions segment. 
  • The company is hosting a conference call at 8:30 a.m. EST to discuss the results and acquisition.
  • TE Connectivity shares fell nearly 6% in premarket trading.
