The Green Bay Packers showed defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt the money on Monday, as they agreed to a new contract, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.
“The #Packers and standout DT Devonte Wyatt have agreed to terms on a 3-year, $57M contract extension with a $20M signing bonus. A big-time payday. The deal was negotiated by @WinSportsGroup,” Rapoport shared in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
It is the latest in several notable transactions the Packers have made following the 2025 NFL season.
For Wyatt, he is not going anywhere else, as Green Bay showed how much the franchise still trusts him despite not seeing him a lot on the field last season. In 2025, Wyatt appearedin just 10 games, as he suffered a season-ending broken fibula and torn ligaments in his ankle during a Thanksgiving Day victory over the Detroit Lions.
The former Georgia Bulldogs football star had 4.0 sacks, 27 combined tackles (15 solo), two passes defended and seven quarterback hits last season, and he will look to top all those numbers in 2026, when he’ll hope to stay healthy for the entire campaign under new defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon.
Another key Green Bay defensive player, Micah Parsons, meanwhile, shared his thoughts on Wyatt’s new deal with the team.

Shortly after news broke that Green Bay is extending Wyatt, Parsons, who is also recovering from a season-ending injury, posted a short message for his teammate.
“Yest sir!!!” the five-time Pro Bowler Parsons wrote in his post on Instagram that also featured the NFL’s news on Wyatt’s contract.
Once they’re both healthy, Parsons and Wyatt are expected to be huge contributors together for Green Bay’s stop unit that allowed 21.7 points per game in 2025.
