NBC Sports broadcaster Noah Eagle has been a rising star in football broadcasting and in recent years has been getting bigger and bigger games to call for multiple networks. But this September, he's primed for his biggest role yet.
According to Front Office Sports, Eagle has been tabbed to call the game between the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams for the first-ever NFL game in Australia. He will be working with Netflix for their broadcast of the game.
Per the report, it is not yet known who his partner on color commentary will be. The game takes place on September 10 and will be the second game of the NFL season following the Patriots-Seahawks game the Wednesday before.
"Noah Eagle is expected to be the play-by-play broadcaster on Netflix’s NFL telecast when the 49ers face the Rams in Australia, sources told Front Office Sports," the outlet reported. "Netflix declined to comment...
"It is not yet known who the color commentator will be for the game, which takes place on Thurs., Sept. 10, the night after NBC airs the Patriots-Seahawks Super Bowl rematch to kick off the 2026 NFL regular season."

The son of veteran broadcaster Ian Eagle, Noah began building his resume while still in college before joining NBC Sports, where he became the network's voice for Big Ten football and basketball following the conference's move to NBC.
