Palworld’s 1.0 update takes the game's crafting system to the next level by introducing a bunch of new resources and materials. Even recipes that veteran players have been crafting since early access now use new ingredients, meaning existing stockpiles of wood, sulfur, organs, and other items suddenly have far more value. This guide breaks down every new resource in Palworld 1.0 and where to find it.

Wooden Board, High Quality Wooden Board, and Hardwood
Some of the things you’ll quickly realize you need more of are the new building materials, including Wooden Boards, High Quality Wooden Boards, and Hardwood.
Wooden Boards are unlocked through the Technology tree and crafted at the Workshop Assembly Line. They require Wood, Fiber, and Nails, and are now used in many older recipes, including Pal Beds and Assembly Lines.
High Quality Wooden Boards are also crafted at the Workshop Assembly Line. They require Hardwood, regular Wood, and High Quality Cloth. These are needed for structures like the Drafting Table, Large Fishing Pool, and many upgraded buildings.
Hardwood is a brand new resource introduced in Version 1.0. It can be harvested by chopping specific hardwood trees found throughout the floating Sunreach Islands. It can also be found in Sakurajima.
Cryogenic Coolant
Cryogenic Coolant unlocks at Level 31 and is crafted at the Production Assembly Line. To craft it, you will need Aquatic Pal Fluid and Ice Organ. It is used for armor, Powerful Fishing Magnets, Power Pods, Hot Springs, and many other recipes.
Corrosive Solvent
Corrosive Solvent is a mid-to-late game material that becomes available at Level 37. It requires Venom Glands and Sulfur, making both of these older materials far more valuable than before. Corrosive Solvent is required for Thermal Cores, Cryogenic Coolant, and high-tier armor.
Bio Battery
Bio Batteries unlock at Level 44 and require Electric Organs, Refined Ingots, and Carbon Fiber. They are used in many electrical structures, including Electric Furnaces, Item Retrieval Machines, and advanced lighting.
Computer
Computers become available at Level 50. Each Computer requires Circuit Boards, Plastial, Bio Batteries, and Carbon Fiber. They’re a major component in advanced storage, Ancient Technology, and many high-level crafting recipes.
Thermal Core
Thermal Cores unlock at Level 59 and are crafted using Flame Organs, Coal, Corrosive Solvent, and Hexalite. They are used in advanced armor, ammunition, Ancient Technology, and the Wing Pack.
Most late-game materials depend on previous crafting components. Building automated production lines for common ingredients saves a huge amount of time later.
Soralite Ore
Soralite is a brand new ore found on the floating Sunreach Islands. It appears as bright blue deposits and can only be mined using the Plasma Multicutter.
Soralite Ingot
Soralite Ingots are smelted at the Ancient Furnace using Soralite and Pure Quartz. These ingots have become one of the most important crafting materials in Palworld 1.0 and appear in dozens of endgame recipes.
AI Core
AI Cores unlock at Level 67 and are crafted at the Advanced Workshop. Each one requires Computers, Soralite Ingots, Thermal Cores, and Ancient Civilization Cores.
AI Cores are primarily used for the strongest technology in the game, including the Wing Pack, new Ancient Armor, advanced weapons, and several endgame structures.
World Tree Resources
The new World Tree area is home to multiple exclusive resources that cannot be found anywhere else.
Before entering this biome, players must unlock the World Tree by completing the “To The World Tree” questline. This involves collecting four relics from whale skeleton locations, crafting the Echoing Flute, and defeating the huge Panthalus boss. Once Panthalus is captured, players must take it to the World Tree barrier and interact with the locked terminal to disable the energy field and gain access.

World Tree Holy Water
World Tree Holy Water is dropped by Pals living inside the biome. It is required for numerous Ancient Technology recipes and Pal Metal Ingots.
Mythical Wood
Mythical Wood comes from trees inside the World Tree region. However, these trees disappear unless the player has either consumed World Tree Holy Water or brings a Pal with one of the new Rainbow Passives that lets nearby special resources remain visible for a longer time.
Paloxite Ore
Paloxite is another World Tree exclusive resource. It appears as glowing pink ore deposits near Dusty Ravine Watchtower and also requires the Plasma Multicutter to mine.
Paloxite Ingot
Paloxite Ingot is created by fusing Soralite and Paloxite with World Tree Holy Water at the Anxient Furnace, unlocked at Level 66. It’s a highly rare material that’s used in crafting high-tier equipment and structures. Some of the technologies that use Paloxite Ingot are Ancient Spheres and Wing Packs.
Capturing World Tree Pals can reward the new Rainbow Passive which makes resource farming so much easier over time.
