90 Day Fiancé’s Armando Niedermeier-Rubio and husband Kenneth Niedermeier are sharing positive news about their daughter’s health.
In a three-part post on Instagram, the married couple shared that Armando’s 13-year-old daughter Hannah has been discharged from the hospital following her recent health scare. While the couple still doesn’t have answers, Armando says he’s “very happy” to see her leave the hospital.
“I’m actually very happy, very just thrilled, and just my heart is so full to let you guys know that Hannah has been released from the hospital, which is the best news we could have right now,” Armando shared, with Kenneth adding, “Oh God, we are so over the moon. Hannah’s very happy to be leaving the hospital.”
Kenneth then continued, “Ever since Armando got here, oh my God, she has just gotten better and better and gone leaps and bounds. The doctors were so happy with her progress that they said, ‘Now, I think she would do better with you guys in a home setting.’”
Kenneth, who’s a father to son Bricen and triplet daughters Madison, Cassidy and Taylor, then explained that Hannah would have to stay in the Phoenix area for more testing for the next month.
“She’s gonna be under a lot of supervision over the next month, where she has to stay in the Phoenix area,” Kenneth explained. “So, she has to do a lot of scans. She’s on anti-seizure medication, among other things, to keep this in check, and make sure nothing is going wrong, but right now they have everything under control, although they still have no clue as to why it happened, which is very frustrating.”
Echoing his husband’s frustrations, Armando emphasized that not having an exact diagnosis is “a little unsettling” since he doesn’t know “what the future could hold.”
“It’s scary, but we take what we can, and Hannah’s better. She’s getting better every day,” he shared.
As of right now, the 13-year-old has mild blindness, a little bit of drooping and minor weakness, which she is going to be working on while she’s in rehab for the next month. The married couple, who rose to fame during season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, asked their followers to continue keeping Hannah in their prayers, describing this time as one of the “scariest moments of both of our lives.”
While they both couldn’t be with Hannah originally, being that Armando couldn’t get a visa and Kenneth was at a funeral in Ohio, the teen was always surrounded by love. Armando and Kenneth took a moment to thank Armando’s mom and sister for all their help in the earliest moments of the health scare.
“It was touch and go. It was a very critical, dire situation at that moment and it was freaking scary,” Kenneth said, as Armando added, “The whole week was very intense and me not being able to be with Hannah, Kenny not being in town, it was just a lot, a lot that went down and thankfully, you know, we had a lot of love and again, prayers from you guys, which again, we are eternally grateful for.”
“You guys don’t know how well you guys did for us, but it really is amazing,” he said.
Kenneth then got emotional as he thanked the fans of 90 Day Fiancé and any of their supporters who helped spread the word of Hannah’s illness, donated money to their GoFundMe or sent them well wishes. He shared that all of the support was instrumental in Hannah getting better because their lobbying helped get Armando to the United States to be by her side.
“This right here is Hannah’s best medicine,” Kenneth said, referring to his husband.
Armando shared his gratitude as well, noting that as soon as he made it to Arizona, there was a change in Hannah.
“It did help her a lot, so it was a blessing to be able to cross that border and be at my baby’s bedside,” the doting dad said.

Armando concluded their three-part video emotionally thanking his husband for stepping up in Hannah’s time of need.
“I want really quick also to thank this guy,” Armando said. “He did what he could to be there for, for Hannah. He was the dad. This is why I married him because I knew he was an amazing dad.”
“That’s why I fell in love with him, and he proved it. He proved it this last week, why I made the best decision in my life, why he’s my best friend, why he’s the love of my life, and he’s an amazing father to Hannah,” he continued. “I’m just blessed, so thank you, thank you.”
In response, Kenneth said that Armando “doesn’t need to thank me,” adding that he loves Hannah “more than anybody can say, and I love him more than anybody can say.”
On Wednesday, July 15, Armando first took to Instagram to give his followers more details about Hannah’s recent medical emergency after sharing a post asking for help securing an emergency medical travel visa. In the three-minute clip, Armando began by thanking people for their kind words and prayers for his daughter, whom he welcomed with his ex-wife.
“I know a lot of you have a lot of questions and are wondering, and I do appreciate all the nice comments and, and prayers for my Hannah,” he said, before explaining why he’s not by her side. “I did go to the border to see about the humanitarian visa, and unfortunately they told me that as of two years ago that they took them out, like they don’t longer exist. So, you can’t get any of that type of visa at the ports of entry, so that plan failed.”
“I was at my shop and Hannah called me next door, and she said she wasn’t feeling good [and she was] crying,” he explained. “I noticed like her face was droopy, half of her face and her lips and stuff, and half of her body had no strength, so we immediately took her to the doctor.”
“When we got to the doctor, they did tell us her levels were normal in the sense of no high blood pressure, which was strange to the doctor because she said usually with stuff like this ... that it was something with the brain,” he added. “It was strange given her age, and also the fact that she would have high blood pressure, which would be a huge symptom.”
On Thursday, July 16, Kenneth, who posted a photo of himself by Hannah’s bedside on Instagram, said the 13-year-old is “truly touched and shocked” by all of the love.
“Hannah told me to tell you all, thank you for all the love she is receiving from all of you, she is truly touched and shocked by it all,” he captioned the post. “It means the world to all of us! ❤️.”
