Daisy Kent is in her bridal era.
The Bachelor alum, 27, has checked off several things on her wedding to-do list ahead of her ceremony to fiancé Thor Herbst, including: choosing her wedding dress, locking down a venue, and setting a wedding date. Now, she can cross bridal shower off the list too, as she recently celebrated with the closest women in her life.
“Bridal shower of my dreams 🤍💍💐 truly have the most amazing woman & role models who have taught me so much about love,” Kent captioned an Instagram reel on Monday, July 20. “This will forever be one of my favorite days. thank you to my beautiful sisters @adelinekent @josiekay85 & mom @juliemkent7 for putting it on! my heart is so full & I haven’t stopped smiling 🥹 thank you for all the kind messages, ily all 🤍🤍🤍.”
Kent, who participated in Joey Graziadei’s season 28 of The Bachelor, celebrated her bridal shower at Woodland Glasshaus at Bavaria Downs in Chaska, Minnesota — the same place where The Bachelorette alum Michelle Young tied the knot last summer. She posted a compilation of clips from the elegant event, which she explained was “floral-themed” on her Instagram Stories. The bride-to-be matched the theme by wearing a strapless white maxi dress with flower appliqués.
At one point, Herbst seemingly made a surprise appearance to give Kent a large vase of white roses. In February, the pair announced that they will marry in Utah on Dec. 19.
On Tuesday, July 21, Kent revealed in a Q&A on her Instagram Stories what her favorite part of wedding planning has been so far.
“Thor has been very involved which has made it super fun to do together. I think overall moments like this weekend at my bridal shower where everyone we love is together is really special,” she wrote. “Dress shopping, menu tasting, it’s all been so fun. We’re also the first of our college friends to get married so having everyone together at the wedding will be so fun.
She continued, “I know wedding planning is stressful a lot of times, but we’ve really had a lot of fun with it. We are both pretty laid back so I think that helps also. And having a great wedding planner definitely makes it 1000000x easier @irenecoevents 🤍.”
Kent has invited a few of her “closest friends” and producers from The Bachelor, including Chrissa Perez and Autumn Waggoner, who both attended the bridal shower. “Overall with the guest list, we really only invited people that me & Thor know well. 🤍.”
She also said that her bachelorette party will take place in Cabo instead of Las Vegas. She wrote, “I thought about it for a while! I decided to go somewhere else because I wanted it to feel like more of a vacation for myself. We’re going to Cabo in September around my birthday now. 🤍 Thor is going to do his where we go boating with his family.

Back in November — just a month after Kent announced her engagement to Herbst on Instagram — Kent explained on TikTok that she wants her wedding to have a “winter vibe.” The previous month on TikTok, she said she and her fiancé want to tie the knot in Utah because it’s where they “rekindled [their] love” after her time on The Bachelor.
At the time, Kent also shared the significance behind her winter wedding theme.
“I never thought I wanted a winter wedding, but then my older sister had a winter wedding a few years ago and it was absolutely beautiful,” she said. “So stunning and magical. My parents also got married in the middle of winter.”
