Galen, N.Y. — The Wayne County Sheriff's Office is investigating an apparent murder-suicide.
The 911 center received a report at 11:46 a.m. Wednesday of a male and female with gunshot wounds at a home on Route 31 between Davis Parkway and Old Route 31 just outside the village of Clyde. The sheriff's office said deputies found a male and a female dead.
It was unclear what led to the shooting, but the sheriff's office said there was no threat to the community.
No further information has been released.
