Woman picking mangos dies after falling from tree, Miramar police say

A neighbor noticed her on the ground and called 911, authorities said.

A woman was found dead in Miramar on Monday after possibly falling from a mango tree, police said.

Authorities identified the woman as Lucrecia Cardozo, 56. She was found on the 21000 block of SW 176th Avenue.

A neighbor noticed Cardozo on the ground and called 911 around 12:20 p.m. on July 20, according to authorities.

The circumstances around the incident are being investigated, police said.
