IA, NE, SD (KCAU) — Wildfire smoke re-entered Siouxland Monday night after it lingered over the region across the weekend.

Following the passage of the cold front Monday, wildfire smoke has rolled back into the region, bringing air quality levels down to moderate for those sensitive to air pollution and smoke.

The smoke will slowly make its way out of the region going into Wednesday, and air quality should continue to improve throughout the week.
