According to reports, West Ham United want to sign Leicester City star on the cheap, whilst leading race for another Fox

A whole host of Leicester City players have been shipped out or released before now. And there is no sign of the Foxes slowing down with regards to outgoings.

The main problem is that only two incoming players have arrived on Filbert Way, while only young strikers and hopefuls are available as goalscorers. In the meantime, two of City's defenders could be relinquished if Premier League side West Ham decide to pay fair fees for the respective center-backs.

But another bombshell was dropped on Leicestershire on the morning of Wednesday, July 22. Following months of rumours, along with fan anger, LCFC's ownership, The King Power International Group, has seemingly decided to sell.

Reputable source Financial Times state that Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, who is the chairman in LE2, has put the Foxes up for sale as they are seeking buyers with the help of investment bankers at City Group. This wasn't a shock as much as a surprise in the timing for the Blue Army fan base in Leicester.

Essentially, the majority of the support do seem to wish for fresh ownership, but they know that things could be even worse with another group on board. Just look at what happened to Sheffield Wednesday recently until they had fresh ownership from America; nobody knows how that's going to turn out even if it looks promising at this stage.

So with King Power effectively putting Leicester City Football Club on the market, some people are wondering if this is going to affect new manager Russell Martin, the players who are signed or the players who will leave. At the moment, just to reassure supporters, it is likely that all elements will run as they would if the current owner was staying put.

So back to potential transfers. There are a few strikers and center halves on City's apparent wish list or short list, as is always seemingly the case with the Foxes, personnel must be sold beforehand.

West Ham plan to agree 'cut-price' Ben Nelson deal after transfer missionFootball Insider

Two LCFC footballers who are attracting serious interest, if reports are accurate, are Australia international Harry Souttar, along with ex-England youth team star Ben Nelson. Nelson could go for up to £12 million according to speculation; Souttar's £10m price tag may put off some of his potential suitors.

The Daily Record has reported that West Ham are not only interested, but are the favourites for his signature.Yahoo Sports

West Ham United have been linked with both athletes. 'In the know' social media account ExWHUEmployee has confirmed that the Hammers do like the look of both of those targets. Indeed, WHU would love to agree a cut price deal for the one-time Oxford United, Doncaster Rovers and Rochdale loanee; the Hammers are reportedly favourites to sign the former Sheffield United and Stoke City man.
