Weather conditions and UVB forecast in South Africa’s provinces
Gauteng
Gauteng can expect morning frost in places in the south, otherwise fine and cool but warm in extreme north.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index is Moderate
Mpumalanga
Mpumalanga, the Place of the Rising Sun, can expect fine and cool to warm
Limpopo
In Limpopo, fine and cool to warm.
North West
North West, known as Bokone Bophirima in Setswana, can expect fine and cool to warm.
Free State
In the Free State, fine and cool.
Northern Cape
Cloudy with morning fog in the west and south, otherwise fine and cool to warm. The wind along the coast will be moderate southerly to south-easterly.
Western Cape
Cloudy with morning fog in the west, otherwise fine to partly cloudy and cool. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate westerly to north-westerly but southerly to south-easterly along the west coast.
The expected UVB sunburn index is Moderate
Eastern Cape
The Western half: Morning fog in places in the south, otherwise fine and cool. The wind along the coast will be Light and variable.
The Eastern half: Fine and cool. The wind along the coast will be Light and variable.
KwaZulu-Natal
Fine and cool but cold in the southwest. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate northerly to north-easterly.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index is Very High
