Texas Rangers youngster Cam Cauley isn't exactly a power prospect, but he walloped one on Wednesday night for his first career major league home run.
Cauley's opposite-field shot tied things up in the second inning as the Rangers look to take the series from the Chicago White Sox.

The 23-year-old Cauley, recently ranked as the No. 18 prospect in the Rangers' system, had hit eight home runs for Round Rock before his call-up to the big league club in late June. Through 14 games entering Wednesday night's matchup, Cauley hit .267/.353/.400. He's mostly known as a speed-and-defense prospect as a small middle-infielder, but he's shown he's got some pop when he gets the right pitch.
The bonus? Cauley might end up getting the ball back - the Rangers' broadcast caught the fan who caught the ball being ushered up the right field stairs by ballpark staff, likely heading to work out a swap.
