A 41-year-old Princeton man was sentenced to life in prison after a Collin County jury convicted him of prohibited sexual conduct for repeatedly sexually assaulting and impregnating his 17-year-old daughter, Collin County District Attorney Greg Willis announced Wednesday.
Leslie Price received the maximum sentence from District Judge Kimberly Laseter following a trial in Collin County.
The investigation began Sept. 10, 2024, when Amarillo police received a delayed outcry from the victim, who was three months pregnant at the time. She told authorities Price had sexually assaulted her while she lived with him in Princeton. The case was referred to the Princeton Police Department because the assaults occurred in Collin County.
Detectives arrested Price and seized two of his cellphones. Forensic analysis uncovered internet searches about whether a 17-year-old could become pregnant, how a daughter could get an abortion, and the legal age of consent in Texas, according to prosecutors.
The victim gave birth in March 2025. DNA testing confirmed Price is the biological father of both his daughter and her child.
During the punishment phase, prosecutors introduced evidence of Price's prior prison sentences for family violence assault and engaging in organized criminal activity.

Prohibited sexual conduct between a parent and child is a first-degree felony in Texas that carries a maximum penalty of life in prison.
"Leslie Price committed the ultimate betrayal - he sexually assaulted his own 17-year-old daughter and fathered her child," Willis said. "A Collin County jury convicted him and the judge sentenced him to life in prison. This verdict protects our community and delivers justice for a young victim who showed tremendous courage."
