What happens in episode 2 (spoiler-light)?

Following last week’s technique-focused premiere, episode 2 shifted the competition toward one of the most important skills for a successful “DWTS” professional.

The remaining 10 contestants were paired into male-female teams and tasked with choreographing routines inspired by real-life experiences. Guest judge Brandon Armstrong emphasized that professional dancers must be able to connect emotionally with audiences, not just execute technically strong performances.

One standout storyline involved Natalie Jolley and Erik Linder, who impressed judges after overcoming criticism from week 1.

By the end of the episode, another contestant was eliminated from the competition, leaving the other nine professional hopefuls still battling for a coveted spot on “Dancing with the Stars” season 35.
