Even as adults, Persian cats have the kind of coat that tends to overtake their body — not that it's a bad thing! It just means that every day is a good hair day... but it also means that when they're kittens, they're basically entirely fur. Again, not a bad thing at all.
And when it comes to this teeny tiny black Persian kitten, at this age, he's looking a lot more like a caterpillar than a cat.
Here, we have Freddie, showing off his skills at letting out the crispiest-sounding meows you could ever dream of and looking totally adorable doing it.
This sweet cat is all big eyes and fur — the only time you can actually see his little mouth is when he opens it up to yell (and what a cute yell it is). It's safe to say that Freddie has found his voice!
This footage was taken when Freddie was a baby, and he's a full grown cat now, as you can see in his more recent videos. Still a beauty, though.
It's no wonder he has more than 56,000 followers and counting!

How to Care for a Persian Cat's Fluffy Coat
In general, cats are pretty good at grooming themselves — even Persian cats, who tend to have a bit more fur than many other breeds. But from time to time, they might need a little help from their favorite human.
Cats.com points out that Persians' fluffy hair can end up getting matted very easily, so it's important to help your kitty out once in a while by brushing their coat. This is especially important, since mats can cause sores on their skin that can be very painful.
And there are a couple of added bonuses to brushing: It will help with the shedding they tend to do all over your house, and they will likely cough up less hairballs, so everybody wins. Well, except for the cat, who might not love hair brushing time.
You'll want to have a hair grooming comb with wide-spaced pins and a slicker brush, which will leave a pretty shine behind.
It's a little extra effort than many shorthair cats would require, but in the end, you are rewarded with a truly gorgeous (and healthy) feline.
