Airport lounges have come a long way from sad buffets, lukewarm coffee and a few chairs squeezed between the duty-free shop and Gate 47. These days, a good lounge can be reason enough to arrive at the airport early, offering everything from restaurant-quality food and Champagne to showers, quiet workspaces and, occasionally, a place to forget you're about to spend six hours in economy. A new ranking has now revealed the world's best airport lounges for business travelers in 2026—and four of the top 10 are right here in the U.S.

The study, conducted by business credit card company Capital on Tap, analyzed 74 Priority Pass airport lounges around the world, looking at factors including customer ratings, weekly opening hours, amenities and whether guests have to follow a dress code. Priority Pass member ratings were weighted most heavily in determining the final scores.
The best lounge in the world, according to the ranking, is Vienna Lounge at Vienna International Airport, which earned an overall score of 8.73 out of 10 and a 4.8 Priority Pass member rating. The lounge boasts 18 listed amenities, including a cinema, children's play area, quiet zone and showers. It also has conference facilities for an additional fee, because the airport is where we're conducting business in a remote-work world.
Athens International Airport's Goldair Handling Lounge Extra came in second, thanks in part to its 24-hour operation, Greek-inspired buffet and premium drinks. But the highest-ranking U.S. lounge was the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, which took third place globally.
The two-story Las Vegas lounge has a 4.7 Priority Pass member rating and is open from 4:30am to 11pm. It includes restaurant seating, dedicated workspaces and lounge areas, along with a Champagne Room where travelers can grab a glass of bubbly from a golden bar cart.
Coming in at No. 5 is the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse at Los Angeles International Airport, with an 18-amenity offering and a 4.4 Priority Pass member rating, while San Francisco International Airport's The Club SFO ranks seventh globally, earning a 4.5 member rating and offering 12 listed amenities. And rounding out the U.S. entries is Turkish Airlines Lounge at Miami International Airport at No. 8, with a 4.3 rating and 14 listed amenities. Even better, this one has a smart-casual dress code, keeping things classy.
