The Legend of Zelda Confirms Three Huge New Reveals Coming Next Week

The Legend of Zelda is officially set to reveal three new releases next week, continuing the 40th anniversary celebration in style.

The Legend of Zelda fans are having a great 40th anniversary celebration so far this year, with Nintendo delivering one exciting announcement after another for the beloved franchise. The biggest reveal by far is the long-awaited remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which is set to arrive on Nintendo Switch 2 later this year and marks the first full modern reimagining of the Nintendo 64 classic.

Beyond that, the live-action Legend of Zelda movie has fans hyped following official casting announcements and a confirmed 2027 theatrical release, while Nintendo has also teased more of the franchise's future beyond Tears of the Kingdom. Fans have been eagerly debating how these projects could shape Zelda's future, speculating about potential new games and remasters, and celebrating what has become one of the busiest and most exciting periods for the series in years.

And to keep the good times rolling, a brand-new report suggests that The Legend of Zelda fans are in for three huge new reveals coming next week (via Games Radar).

According to a new report that confirms Hasbro has acquired licenses to officially produce and sell Legend of Zelda products, fans are in for a slate of new releases in the coming weeks and months ahead. To kick off the new announcement, they'll be revealing three 6-inch collectible figures at this month's San Diego Comic Con, taking place from July 23 to July 26 next week.

Seeing as this is just the beginning of Hasbro's product rollout, it's very likely products will not be limited to toy figures, and fans can expect to see new reveals in the coming months, including potential tabletop games. Billy Lagor, Hasbro President, has issued the following statement on the exciting news:

"The Legend of Zelda franchise has captivated fans through its deep lore, unforgettable characters and enduring sense of discovery [for decades]. By combining Nintendo’s iconic storytelling with Hasbro’s leadership in action and role-play, we’re delivering toys that invite fans to play, explore and forge their own epic adventures."

Given how popular the IP and how massive the fanbase is for Zelda, options for officially licensed merch and toys are relatively limited compared to other similar franchises. Hasbro intends to change that, and is definitely positioned to do so, as the possibilities are endless in terms of their associated products.

Zelda fans could eventually see everything from premium action figures and detailed play sets to plush toys, NERF-inspired Master Sword roleplay gear, new board and trading card games, and high-end collector's items based on Hyrule's most iconic heroes and villains.

Next week's reveal at Comic Con is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to new officially licensed The Legend of Zelda products we're likely to see in the coming months, and the massive announcement is sure to give fans plenty to talk about.
