WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A teenager was hospitalized after he was shot in Northwest D.C. overnight.
The Metropolitan Police Department told DC News Now that just before 12:15 a.m. on July 21, officers were dispatched to a shooting at Michigan Avenue and 1st Street. There, the teen boy was found with a gunshot wound to his head.
Medics took him to the hospital for treatment.
During the shooting, a vehicle was also struck. The driver was not hurt.
