Nicole Kidman's daughter is looking more and more like her famous mother.
The Australian movie star's eldest daughter with ex Keith Urban, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, has spent the summer soaking up the sun in Europe. The model, who turned 18 earlier this month, looked tanned and relaxed on a recent idyllic getaway to Italy, and the resemblance to her famous mother was truly uncanny in a new vacation photo shared to her growing Instagram account.
Sunday Rose looked effortlessly stylish in a little black dress with her dark tresses out in long waves as she posed beside her older cousin Sybella Hawley, who is the daughter of Nicole's sister, Antonia Kidman. While she's switched up her hair colour from blonde to brunette, Sunday Rose still looked just like her mother's mini-me with the same structured side profile and facial features.
Nicole is Sunday Rose's 'biggest inspiration'
While Nicole is best known for her Hollywood career on-screen, the actress also dabbled in modelling as a teen. Just like her mother, Sunday Rose has ventured into the modelling world after making her runway debut for luxury brand Miu Miu at Paris Fashion Week in September 2024. She's gone on to walk the runway for Christian Dior, starred in a Miu Miu campaign, and appeared on the magazine cover of Elle Australia.
In a rare interview earlier this year, Sunday Rose credited her famous mother as her "biggest inspiration". She spoke to Elle Australia about wanting to pursue film and how she would tag along to Nicole's photoshoots while growing up.
"I definitely gained a lot of interest from those experiences and especially being privileged enough to experience them at a young age," the model said.
"My mum is someone who has always been so creative and my biggest inspiration in life. She’s a key part of everything I do."
While Sunday Rose has chosen the spotlight, her younger sister Faith Margaret, 15, keeps a much more low profile. Nicole and her ex-husband, musician Keith, welcomed their second daughter together in 2010. Faith Margaret has made the occasional public appearance alongside her parents, including at the AFI Life Achievement Award Gala Tribute in 2024.
Mother-daughter date
Sunday Rose has joined her mother on red carpets and at fashion week, but arguably their biggest mother-daughter outing was at the fashion event of the year: the Met Gala. Nicole and her daughter walked the red carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in May for the annual star-studded gala.
Nicole looked radiant in asequined red gownadorned with feathers while Sunday Rose was pretty in pink for her Met Gala debut.
While Sunday Rose enjoyed a very glamorous outing surrounded by the world's biggest stars, her mother Nicole, who was a co-chair for this year's event alongside Beyoncé, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour, revealed that ultimately her daughter is still like every other teen and had school in the morning.
"She had to go to school tomorrow morning, by 8 a.m. Keeping it real," Nicole said during Vogue's livestream, adding that her daughter had "been so calm through the whole thing".
