Charlize Theron may owe Matt Damon's wife, Luciana, an apology after making a naughty comment about his buff transformation for their new movie, The Odyssey.
The actress, who plays the immortal sea nymph Calypso, gushed about Matt's "incredible" physique in Christopher Nolan's new blockbuster.
Matt revealed that he underwent a gruelling training schedule to get "jacked" for his role of King Odysseus – and Charlize is certainly a fan of his new muscles.
"I've seen him without all of that suit on. He's incredible. Incredible," she recently told ET.
"I'm like staring at him weirdly. I'm looking at his [expletive] right now. I shouldn't do that! That's just wrong. He looked amazing, yes," she added.
How Matt got 'jacked' for his role in The Odyssey
Earlier this month, Matt shared details of his "life-changing" transformation for his "strong and lean role" as Odysseus.
He told comedian Amy Pohler on her podcast, Good Hang: "It's way different to be getting jacked in your 50s. It's really hard. It's just a complete, complete lifestyle change."
"Just put your feet on the gas, and that's it. And that's the only way to do it and eat a little less, no gluten, which changed my life.
Matt added that he still maintains his gluten-free diet. He explained: "I didn't realize the level to which it was affecting me and affecting my life. It's completely changed my life these last couple of years of not eating it."
"It's a bummer," he added. "I'm a big fan of bread and beer, and you know pasta and pizza and all that stuff, but how I feel is just so much better."
Inside Matt and Luciana's 20-year marriage
Matt and his wife, Luciana, have been married for 20 years after tying the knot in December 2005. Soon after, Matt adopted Alexia, whom Luciana welcomed with her ex-husband Arbello Barroso, before they went on to have three more daughters, Isabella, 20, Gia, 17, and Stella, 15.
They met in 2003 in Miami while he was filming Stuck on You and she was working in a bar.
Describing their instant connection, Luciana told Voguein 2018: "We definitely had a connection right away, it was so easy to talk to each other, we were very comfortable [with each other], and by the end of the night, he invited me to go out with his friends."
However, being a single mom at the time, she turned him down, but that just made Matt fall for her more.
"I was like, 'I can't, I have a four-year-old daughter, I'm not going anywhere'… and that was one of the things he loved, that I had a daughter," she recalled.
"He said, 'I love that you're a mom and that's your priority.' Some guys might have been different, they might think it's complicated, but for him it wasn't."
She added: "When you meet somebody that you have a connection with, that's just the person that you have a connection with, all the other stuff — the movie-star part — wasn't really a factor. It was just Matt, to me he's just Matt."
