Stephanie White and the Indiana Fever made it back-to-back wins on Saturday night after defeating the New York Liberty at home, 108-88. This was Indiana’s second victory in two nights following its 110-107 win over the Seattle Storm on Saturday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
It was Kelsey Mitchell who led the way with another offensive explosion. The four-time All-Star went off for a game-high 33 points on 10-of-14 shooting. Caitlin Clark, fresh off her historic 45-point, 10-assist double-double against the Storm, chipped in with 17 points and seven assists.
However, during her postgame speech inside the locker room, White singled out one particular player for her outstanding effort in the game.

The Fever posted a video of White addressing her players after the win. The Fever coach praised her team’s defense and their mental focus throughout the game.
White named just one player during her speech, and that was veteran forward Myisha Hines-Allen.
“Yish, way to be ready,” White stated. “Plus 22 in 14 minutes, plus 22.”
Hines-Allen came off the bench, logging 14 minutes of play. She finished with five points, three rebounds, an assist, two steals and one triple. The numbers may be modest, but she also registered a team-high +22 in her limited time on the floor. Her energy was infectious, and her effort was relentless, proving that she brings so much more to the table than what appears on the box score.
Hines-Allen is no star, but she is exactly the type of role player White and the Fever need as they pursue a championship run this season.
