Maduka Okoye’s former partner, Jelicia Westhoff, has publicly accused him of neglecting their young son shortly after he was seen dining with Cardi B in Italy.
In a series of Instagram posts, later deleted but shared online through screenshots, Westhoff alleged that Okoye has not fulfilled his responsibilities as a father.
Westhoff stated that she had previously remained silent about their relationship to protect Okoye’s career but chose to speak out after seeing him in public. She wrote, “Imagine i shut my f****** mouth, Lied about what YOU did to me, so you Could continue YOUR career and all you do f****** is embarrassing [sic] US.”
She further alleged, “YOU make me look like im a bitter Baby mother when i helped you when NO one was there for you!!! … YOU DONT TAKE CARE OF YOUR 1 and only SON! BECAUSE I DONT WANT TO BE WITH YOU I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU.”
According to Westhoff, Okoye has little involvement in the life of their son, Isaiah Emil Jr. Okoye. She claimed he neither visits nor calls the child because he is more focused on “punishing” her and “being a baddie on social media.” She also alleged that he failed to visit their son during a serious medical emergency late last year.
“MY son got hospitalized 4 times, ON the intensive care, with an ambulance!!!” she wrote. “His FATHER Didnt even [come]! [tell me] Which father doesn’t [go] to his child when your child is fighting for his life? Explain this to me?? Cause you Cant be with the mother,” Westhoff noted. She also accused Okoye of infidelity involving both men and women and physically abusing her.
Speaking to Page Six, however, she made it clear that her criticism was not aimed at Cardi B and she had “nothing against” the rapper. “[It’s] about you going out with any woman in public knowing that you don’t take care of your child,” Westhoff told the outlet.
Okoye was recently seen having dinner with Cardi at Gio’s restaurant inside the St. Regis hotel in Italy. Footage obtained by TMZ showed them dining alongside several other men. Seated next to one another, Cardi and Okoye appeared to be chatting throughout the meal. No public displays of affection were reported.
Earlier this month, the two attended the Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture show at Paris Fashion Week, prompting online speculation. Videos showed Okoye holding Cardi’s hand as she took her seat, and they were later seen talking on a restaurant terrace in Paris.
Cardi recently ended her on-and-off relationship with NFL free agent Stefon Diggs. They began dating in 2024 and welcomed a son in November 2025. Cardi also has three children with her estranged husband, Offset.
