The Crestline Village Water District office got a surprise visit on Wednesday afternoon.
A small black bear was caught on video entering the offices in the San Bernardino Mountains at about 12:15 p.m.
In the video, the animal can be seen opening the door while on its hind legs and going inside before quickly making its way out.
Office manager Josselyn Bryan told NBC Los Angeles that the bear stayed in the lobby for about two minutes before entering the office area, where it remained for a few seconds.
“Once he stood up and he saw me, he quickly just turned around and walked back out,” she said.
According to Bryan, the bear just left a couple of nose prints around the office but didn’t cause any damage.
“It was a cool building to be in,” she said. “We had the AC going, so it was probably nice on a warm day. He was just sauntering through.”
