After Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) passed away earlier this month, South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster (R) picked Graham’s younger sister – Darline Graham Nordone – to serve the rest of Graham’s term while the state GOP holds a primary election to pick a candidate to run in this November’s midterm election for the seat.
Graham Nordone was sworn in last Tuesday for what was meant to be a temporary position. But on Monday this week, before her brother has even been buried, Graham Nordone, who has never held an elected position before, announced to Fox News that she’s running for a six-year term in the Senate. Donald Trump has already given her his “complete and total endorsement.”
