Seth Meyers on Tuesday found a taunting “answer” to the question of why Donald Trump has so many doctors’ appointments.
Using some deft editing, the “Late Night” host made Mehmet Oz, the administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, appear to reply: “Treating stupid is really hard.”
The line came during Meyers’ latest spoof White House press briefing, which he said was inspired by press secretary Karoline Leavitt’s recent return from parental leave.
Meyers noted that he still had questions for the Cabinet members who filled in during Leavitt’s absence. So, thanks to the magic of editing, he brought Oz, Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent back to answer them.
