Selena Gomez Celebrates 34th Birthday: 'Happiest Girlie in the World'

"Every single day I get to create because of all of you," the singer-actress wrote.

Selena Gomez is a very happy birthday girl this year, especially because of the love she receives from her fans and the momentum behind her Rare Impact Fund.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday (July 22), the same day she turned 34 years old, the Rare Beauty founder shared photos of herself blowing out a birthday candle and wrote a message of gratitude in the caption. "First, I have to thank you each of you immensely for your support, kindness and all the bday wishes," she began. "Every single day I get to create because of all of you. Thank you for always making me the happiest girlie in the world."

"Little me would never believe I'd get to celebrate my birthday alongside 6 years of the Rare Impact Fund," Gomez continued. "My heart is so full today. Watching this community come together to support youth mental health has been the greatest gift, so thank YOU. Thank you for believing in this work and for being part of this journey … I love you guys so much!!!"

The singer-actress also encouraged fans to check out the Rare Impact Fund website to learn more and donate to the cause if they're able.

Gomez started her charity in 2020 with a vision of providing funding for youth mental health programs. The fund's ongoing mission has been to mobilize $100 million in contributions to its cause.

A few days prior to her birthday, the star shared a roundup of photos of herself looking lovey-dovey with husband Benny Blanco, hanging out with friends and spending time behind the scenes of Only Murders in the Building, which she and costars Steve Martin, Martin Short, Meryl Streep and Olivia Colman are currently filming in London. Blanco recently revealed that in order to visit his famous wife - whom he married in September - he had to travel overseas on a boat due to his fear of flying.

"the things we do for love," he captioned a video of his travels at the time.

Gomez's last album was her joint LP with Blanco, I Said I Love You First. The project reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200 in April last year.
