(KRON) — Santa Rosa officials are warning residents about the downtown filming of a movie scene later this week that portrays immigrant agents and activities.
Officials said the scene will be shot on Thursday evening but did not provide an exact location.
“Some scenes may look real, so we wanted to let you know in advance,” according to a filming notice posted Tuesday on social media. “Not real immigrant agents or activity.”
There has been growing tension in the Bay Area over the past year surrounding U.S. Immigration and Enforcement (ICE), following a series of reported incidents and arrests involving ICE agents.
Commuters are advised of temporary road closures and traffic controls that will be in effect.
