"Yeah, it's going to be really fun. I am really excited that we open our year with such a big game like that. There is going to be a lot of headlines around it, but you know, like I said, it is another game. Like it is a football game. It's going to be four quarters, fifteen minutes. So you don't want to let all the pressure of how big the game is and all the headlines around it overshadow the fact that we still have to prepare, and we still have to be ready for the game."

"Man, I am really excited for the opportunity. I am excited to get down there and play in that stadium at LSU. It'll be a really fun game. But at the end of the day, it's our first game and it's the biggest game because it's the first game and it's our next game. I'm going to put all my focus on my preparation for that game. And then when that game is over, we're on to the next one."

There’s no tougher place to play than LSU’s Death Valley at night, but these Tigers aren’t blinking. They know what’s coming, and they’re ready to meet the noise head-on.

When asked what he expects from the environment in Baton Rouge, Brown kept it simple:

"I heard it's going to be loud."

That’s the kind of calm, cool swagger you want from your defensive leader when you’re about to walk into a hornet’s nest.

Week 1 is just the beginning. The real mission for Clemson is getting back to the mountaintop and reminding the country who runs college football.

"I think we got a chance. I think we got a chance, but I said the same thing last year. So you can never really predict or say anything based on what you see in spring and summer. But I really do think we've got a chance on defense. I think we've got a lot of really good individual pieces. But the big part of that is being able to take those pieces and mold and shape it into a team."
