Since winning his first major and becoming THE CHAMPION GOLFER OF THE YEAR, you can imagine that Ryan Fox's inbox has been filled with congratulatory messages. But he said it was one messaged from a fellow major champ that "stood out."

Fox made some media rounds on Tuesday after claiming the claret jug on Sunday at Royal Birkdale and one of those stops was on Fried Egg Golf's Shotgun Start Podcast. It was there where he was asked, "What's the best text you've gotten since winning?" and Fox revealed something Justin Thomas told him.
"I'm paraphrasing here, and I'll get it wrong to a point, but it was basically like, remember every little detail, because you're going to want to be able to bring that out at some point," Fox said. "To be able to look back on it and think about all those good feelings. And I was like, that's pretty cool coming from a two-time major champion."
Wise words from JT, who is six years younger than Fox, but has been a pro as the late-blooming Fox for nearly the same amount of time. Watch the clip from Fried Egg Golf's full interview with Fox here:
"I've had a lot of really nice messages from my peers, from other sports people around, but that one stood out for me as like, that's a real little nugget of information there that someone who's live it has imparted on to me," Fox added. "That was pretty cool."
