Bayern Munich superstar right winger Michael Olise is one of the best players on the planet, and Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is desperae to have him. Everyone realizes know that he was the Galactico the president was touting as his next big transfer target this summer during the elections against Enrique Riquelme, stating that Olise was on the level of Cristiano Ronaldo, Ricardo Kaka, Zinedine Zidane, or Jude Bellingham.
Olise proved his worth with a strong World Cup as the tournament's leading assist provider with seven for the French national team, forming one of the all time great pairings of the summer with current Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappe.
But though Real Madrid are doing everything they can to sign Olise this summer, The Athletic's Mario Cortegana reports that even sources within the club are saying that signing Olise is not feasible this summer transfer window.
Real Madrid are not optimistic
It is a disappointing report for Madridistas dreaming of Olise as the missing piece to the attack to hear, but it is not a surprising one either. There have already been rumors in the Spanish press that literally everyone at the Valdebebas besides Florentino Perez thinks that an Olise transfer is not feasible for the Royal White club.
Plus, there are two clear reasons for Real Madrid to not think Olise is feasible. Bayern Munich outplayed Real Madrid last season and are a massive club themselves. They have the French superstar under contract for a few more seasons and zero reason to sell, so they can force a fee above the 222 million euro Neymar record - and as great as Olise is, he is not even close to what Ney was in the late 2010s.
And then there is a bigger issue that makes Olise feel unfeasible to Real Madrid. Again, as great as Olise is, if he were to cost 200 to 250 million euros as is rumored, then that may end up making Florentino choose between Vinicius Junior and Olise. And Vini staying for the next five years is even more important to the Merengues and their biggest priority, because Olise is not worth losing Vinicius over - swapping the two forwards with Bayern Munich would be unthinkable.
Florentino does not rid his obsessions easily, but like with Kylian Mbappe for years, the presi may have to take the patient approach and get Olise in a future summer transfer window.
