Some dogs are perfectly fine stealing all the attention from their humans, but for the ones craving a deeper purpose, there's something to be said about getting your dog a dog. Major is a rare Caucasian Shepherd who got the surprise of a lifetime when Mom brought home a new puppy named Onyx a few months back. Now, these two are the most adorable, fluffy duo you'll ever see!
As the 10-second video montage shared by Mom, @traceebings, shows, there's hardly a single moment these two aren't together. Whether they're chasing, napping, digging up the backyard, or just being two fluffy, adorable babes, they couldn't be any sweeter!
The Shepherd puppy may be the best gift that 1-year-old Major could've ever wanted, and he's proving every day he was meant for the role of big brother. Onyx is about 7 months now, and he's the cutest sidekick to his incredibly rare pup sibling. He's Major's little shadow who's learning the ropes of being one cool pup—they're both crushing the sibling thing.

Major recently had a special birthday party to celebrate turning 1, and Onyx was right by his side through it all. Though Major isn't fully grown yet, this rare dog is already one huge boy with an epic, shaggy haircut and woolly, floppy ears to die for.
Onyx looks as though he's following in Major's footsteps, which means pretty soon, they'll be double trouble!
Caucasian Shepherds Can Grow To Be Massive in Size
As an ancient breed who also claims "one of the biggest" titles, Caucasian Shepherd dogs can grow to be more than 220 pounds or more (for males)! Through their first year is when the most growth happens, you can tell by Onyx's size that he's going to rival big bro one day!
These powerful pups are made of pure muscle and a thick double coat that holds up in any weather. Once used as Livestock Guardian Dogs, these Shepherds come with a boldness and confidence meant for a more experienced pet parent. They're loyal and intense, prepared to protect their herd or pack whenever necessary, but make affectionate companions to their humans.
Major and Onyx really do make this breed look good. Here's to many more adventures together!
