But if we take a step back for just a moment, Suarez's absence on the injured list is actually pretty wild for one reason.

Boston won its 14th game in a row on Monday night. They took a nine-game streak into the All-Star Break, then swept the Tampa Bay Rays in a four-game series, and now started their series against the Baltimore Orioles with a win, too.
When Suarez went out, it seemed the Red Sox season might be crumbling.
Instead, they've surged into what is currently an AL Wild Card spot, and they don't seem to be slowing down.
It's quite the situation for Suarez to return to.
On the one hand, the vibes are sky high. The Red Sox feel great. Having their big offseason acquisition back on the mound is a huge positive.
On the other hand, Suarez hasn't quite been in the middle of the streak. It's possible he'll feel pressure to make a great impact upon his return.
Most likely, Suarez will be up to the task. Boston signed him for moments like this.
If the Red Sox win on Tuesday night, they tie the franchise's all-time win streak record. They're giving the ball to Suarez, and it'll be up to him to deliver.
