The Chosen continues to look for extras for shoots in North Texas.
The hit TV show about Jesus Christ has been filming its seventh and final season at Camp Hoblitzelle in Midlothian, about 30 minutes south of Dallas. The set has been a home base for production since the third season.
Brock Allen Casting put out two calls for extras on Facebook on Wednesday. Both are for Texas residents only. Here's what to know about the roles:
- Men with athletic builds and olive to deep skin tones are needed on July 28 and 30. $200 for 12 hours. Full beards are preferred.
- Men with olive to deep skin tones on July 27-31. $100 for 10 hours.
To apply for the first call, email [email protected] with the subject line "Athletic Man" and the following information:
- Full name
- Contact number
- Availability for the listed dates
- City of residence
- Height and weight
- Clothing sizes for shirt, pants and shoes
- Two recent photos, one headshot and one full-length image, both in color
- Hold a picture with the current date on it in each photo
To apply for the second call, use the same instructions, but include the subject line "New Citizen" instead.
Brock Allen Casting has previously sought stand-in actors, among other roles, for production on Season 7. That season will focus on the Resurrection of Christ and is expected to premiere in theaters on March 31, 2028.
The show's sixth season will portray the Crucifixion and will debut on Prime Video on Nov. 15, 2026. Series creator Dallas Jenkins recently teased a trailer for the upcoming season will be released on July 26.
