NFL teams are starting to open training camp this week and, well, it’s never too early to talk football. Two teams that will be looked at closely are the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots, teams that will battle it out for the AFC East title in 2026.
For starters, they shouldn’t get much competition from the Miami Dolphins or New York Jets. The Bills won five straight AFC East titles before the Patriots came out of nowhere to win the division last season.
With Josh Allen and the Bills in Super-Bowl-or-bust mode, the team fired head coach Sean McDermott and promoted offensive coordinator Joe Brady. The Patriots, meanwhile, are coming off a Super Bowl run in which Drake Maye emerged as an MVP-caliber quarterback. The Patriots have a much tougher schedule than the creampuff slate they had last season, but they also bolstered their team with the addition of wide receiver A.J. Brown.
