Utah’s mountains provided the panoramic backdrop for the 2026 United States Women’s Disc Golf Championship this past week, as 363 competitors from 16 nations showed off their skills. The competition concluded Sunday at Brighton Resort.
At 9,000 feet above sea level, Brighton gave the athletes their highest field of competition to determine winners. Competition was also held at the Creekside, Roots and Dragonfly courses along the Wasatch Front.
The championship celebrated its 25th year during the Professional Disc Golf Association’s 50th anniversary year.
Deseret News photojournalist Lukas Katilius spent the day with these athletes and captured the fun.
