Even better, doing so often earns you some truly special cosmetic rewards.
While a good chunk of them come along with the game's routine seasonal events, there are others provided in tandem with unique Twitch stream collaborations. These are one-of-a-kind customization rewards that come and go in a blink, so it's important to take advantage of them while you have the opportunity. One such reward is the Cool Cat ID Card and Badge, and here's how to get it for your character in Phasmophobia.
How Twitch Drops Work in Phasmophobia
To participate in Twitch Drop collaboration events for Phasmophobia, you first need to make sure that you have an accessible Twitch account that allows you to watch participating streams and earn any drop rewards that streamers provide as a collaborator. With that in check, make sure you have the latest update for Phasmophobia downloaded (v0.18.0.0).
Get on, and then press the Twitch Drops icon at the bottom of the main lobby's bulletin board menu. Make sure your Twitch account is successfully connected by selecting the 'Connect' button, and you'll then be able to watch any participating streams to earn rewards. Note that these collaborations tend to only be available for a limited time, so you'll need to watch the participating streams before the collaboration event ends.
Kinetic Games has since made Twitch collaboration events a fairly regular thing in Phasmophobia, providing players more and more opportunities to get special rewards outside of other in-game seasonal events like Crimson Eye and Winter's Jest, or the unique collaboration with the Alan Wake franchise that happened for a few weeks back in May 2026.
Instead, these Twitch Drops tend to coincide with major patches, such as the Quality of Life update that released on July 21, 2026, and debuted the reworked 13 Willow Street map. Otherwise, they can also happen in tandem with special developer showcases, such as the Galaxies Showcase that happened in April 2026, or the American Heart Association Fundraiser stream that happened back in 2025.
The Twitch Drop rewards for players tend to consist of ID cards and corresponding badges, and they tend to come in sets of both a static and animated "foil" version. It's a convenient way to participate while earning even more customization options for your paranormal investigator. Now that the game has actual character customization as well, these Twitch Drop events may also start to provide some options for your character's look, from clothes to accessories.
How to Get Cool Cat ID and Badge in Phasmophobia
To get the Cool Cat ID Card and Badge in Phasmophobia, you'll need to watch any participating Twitch Drop stream from July 21, 2026, to July 28, 2026 at 6:00 PM (CDT). Once on Twitch, look for any participating streamer, such as Insym, aegis_and_pred, bepis, cooperscharms, crashdiet_05, JOJOsaysbreee, or FlashForce. Make sure that 'Drops' are indicated in the stream's caption to ensure that Twitch Drops for the event are enabled for you to earn while watching.
For this particular event, you need to watch any of these participating streamers for a minimum of 2 hours to earn both the static and animated versions of the Cool Cat ID and Badge. Once you have, you can redeem your rewards on the Inventory page of your Twitch account by clicking 'Claim Now' on the reward.
Restart Phasmophobia, and you'll receive a notification upon loading in that your new ID Card and Badge are available to use. You can change your ID via the game's customization menu, and apply either the static or foil version. Either one will also depict the 'Cool Cat' title at the top of the card, making this one of the most cleverly-designed ID Card rewards in the game to date.
