A person was fatally shot Tuesday morning in southeast Dallas, police said.
Officers responded about 6:20 a.m. to a report of an active disturbance involving a shooter on foot in the 7200 block of Great Trinity Forest Way, according to Dallas police.
A preliminary investigation found that two unknown suspects shot the victim at the location. Dallas Fire-Rescue pronounced the victim dead at the scene, according to authorities.
The victim's name and age were not released. Police did not provide descriptions of the suspects or say what may have led to the shooting. No arrests have been announced.
The killing was the second fatal shooting reported along Great Trinity Forest Way in three days.

A male juvenile was fatally shot early Sunday in a separate incident in the 8000 block of the roadway. Officers responded about 2:15 a.m. and found the juvenile with a gunshot wound, police said.
He was taken to a hospital, where he later died. Police said an unknown suspect shot him.
